In the city of Mérida, capital of the region, we can travel
20 centuries back in time in order to go to the theatre in the era of the
Roman Emperor Octavio Augusto, or get lost in its countless monuments and
museums of that period.

The Roman Theatre is without
any doubt the most emblematic monument of the city during the day, and
it is transformed in a show which attendance is a must during the
night in Merida.

In order to feel yourself as a gladiator without being afraid
of the beasts you only have to come into the arena of the Roman
Anphitheatre or to contemplate the majesty of the Circus,
with capacity for 30.000 spectators.
